About
Wildly Uncivilised

There was a time when making things by hand wasn’t unusual. People knew where their ingredients came from, learned skills from those around them, and took pride in creating things that were made to be used, cherished and shared.

My Story

It began as a creative escape after years in the corporate world, but quickly became something much more meaningful. What started with formulating creams for my own highly sensitive skin grew into a fascination with herbal infusions, traditional craftsmanship, perfumery, and the simple satisfaction of making things well.
Today, Wildly Uncivilised is where all of those passions come together.
A place for kindred spirits.

Wildly Uncivilised is also built on a simple belief: life is far richer when we celebrate individuality instead of trying to fit everyone into the same mould. Kindness, curiosity and understanding will always matter more than perfection, and I hope this little corner of the internet feels like a welcoming place for anyone who shares those values.
Whether you’ve discovered me through an Instagram reel, you’re here to learn something new, or you’re following along as Wildly Uncivilised grows into the cottage business I’ve dreamed about, I’m so glad you’re here.

Rooted in Nature. Guided by Balance.

Nature is at the heart of everything I do—not because I believe the old ways are always better, but because I believe they still have a great deal to teach us.
Wherever possible, I work with botanicals, traditional techniques and thoughtfully chosen ingredients, while embracing modern knowledge when it offers a kinder, safer or more ethical path.
My goal has never been to chase trends or make impossible promises. It’s simply to create with care, curiosity and integrity.
The Courage to be Wild

To me, being wild has very little to do with where you live. You don’t need a cottage in the woods or a smallholding to live a little more wildly.
Being wild means slowing down enough to notice the world around you. It means making something with your own hands. It means staying curious, embracing your wonderfully odd interests, respecting nature, and having the courage to be authentically yourself.

After all, the world could use a few more people who are wonderfully, unapologetically,
Wildly Uncivilised
